Team New Zealand says it's trying not to replicate mistakes made in San Francisco.
They'll face Oracle again on Sunday.
TNZ CEO Grant Dalton said both teams have made some tweaks to their boats.
He said the Kiwis had an error-free session on the water today and Oracle has put in huge hours on the water.
Mike Hosking asked Dalton if the Kiwis can win the Cup.
"Oh I haven't got a clue. We can only control what we can control, but they've stepped up.
"And you know we all know how dangerous they are as an organisation. This isn't San Francisco. We have learnt a lot, doesn't mean to say we won't get the same result."
Dalton said Team New Zealand has played a plan and will find out in the next few days whether that plan is the right one.
