Presidential nominee Donald Trump is tucked away, holed up in a war room in Trump Tower in New York City.

It's battle stations for law enforcement at the base of the Tower .
Newstalk ZB Content Director Nadia Tolich is there and said it's pandemonium.
"Dozens of dumptrucks filled with sand are lining the streets, and those are there in case there is an explosion."
"It's pretty scary stuff, there are police officers everywhere heavily geared up."

Nadia Tolich said people are being moved on, to minimise risks of security threats.
Trump said he'll have to "see how things play out" before accepting the election results, pointing to possible irregularities as he again warned of a rigged political system.
Earlier in the day, he voted with his wife Melania, daughter Ivanka, and son- in-law Jared at the local public school near Trump Tower in New York City.
People shouted "loser" and booed the candidate from behind a barrier set up by police on the street. Some also shouted, "Go, Donald" and gave him a thumbs up.
Trump said it was a "great honour, a tremendous honour" to be casting his ballot.
