The Government's latest moves on changes to the justice sector are set be unveiled today.
Justice Minister Amy Adams is due to launch what's being called "an investment approach to justice", an initiative expected to follow similar strategies to those already implemented in the welfare system.
Last year the Prime Minister clearly signalled such an initiative was likely to be looked at, particularly around domestic violence with the possibility of Budget funding being made available to help tackle the problem.
Finance Minister Bill English has also dropped heavy hints of pending changes, making it clear in a speech to public servants earlier this year, that a significant shake up is needed in the way the Government deals with domestic violence.
