Answers are being demanded of Social Housing Minister Paula Bennett over a $1200 blunder on an official credit card.
Ministerial expense receipts show that last year a $1200 cash advance was drawn against the ministerial credit card in breach of spending rules.
Ms Bennett's office says it was an error by a staffer and the money was reimbursed.
Labour MP Kris Faafoi says Paula Bennett is the State Services Minister and she needs to be keeping a closer eye on things.
"You know, she needs to explain what's going on here. Is it a mistake or has someone done something they shouldn't have done?"
