ANZ Bank is launching new ATM machines in Wellington and Auckland to target the gay community and coincide with Pride Week.

They're called GayTMs and have already popped up in Sydney for the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

The money machines are typically brightly coloured and designed with a theme, with some in Sydney featuring rainbow unicorns, pink animal print and sailor designs.

The receipts are printed on rainbow paper and proceeds have gone to not-for-profit community groups.

The machines will be launched at two special events tonight in Wellington and Auckland.
