The world can now watch a northern royal albatross grow up at Taiaroa Head in Dunedin.
The Department of Conservation has set up a webcam beside an albatross nest on the Otago Peninsula.
The chick in the nest hatched five days ago, and is being filmed 24 hours a day.
Nicola Toki from DOC says they're thrilled to be able share the life history of these awesome seabirds with the rest of the world.
She says it's quite amazing to look right into the nest and watch the chick.
The webcam will film the chick for the next eight months.
