They say everything gives you cancer, but the risk from mobile phones might be less than previously thought.
A new study in the Australia New Zealand Journal of Public Health has found brain cancers didn't increase between 1995 and 2010.
Auckland University researcher Mark Elwood says it follows similar findings overseas.
He says it doesn't prove there isn't a small risk or a long-term risk over several decades.
Mark Elwood says while it is still too early to say there isn't a risk it is a positive sign.
He says "does provide reassurance against substantial risks" of mobile use causing tumours.
