Catching them all is the latest craze sweeping the country.
Pokemon GO has launched in New Zealand, allowing players to capture Pokemon in real-world locations via their smartphone.
Local Pokemon enthusiast Dylan Moran started a Facebook group, Pokemon GO Wellington, initially for his mates - but has been overwhelmed by its popularity.
"It has absolutely taken over, you can see people everywhere going nuts, talking about it, showing off their favourite Pokemon that they've caught, organising get-togethers."

Pokemon GO is an augmented reality mobile game which means graphics are overlaid in real environments.
The game uses GPS on cellphones to track players' movements as they explore different areas to catch different Pokemon.
The app has already rocketed to the top of the charts for iPhone and android app since its release on July 7.
