A person is dead after crashing their car into a power pole in south Auckland.
Police were called to Steven Street in Mangere East shortly after 1.30pm.
They say the sole occupant of the vehicle possibly suffered a medical event and died at the scene.
The road is being closed.and the Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
