North Shore police are appealing for information over a bag snatch from an elderly woman in the same shopping centre where Lucy Knight was badly injured.

The man's face has been captured on CCTV.

Detective Sergeant Todd Bartlett is asking anyone who knows him "what if it was your Nana?"

The 88 year old was targeted at the Northcote shops on the afternoon of August 27th.

She was approached from behind and pushed, falling to the ground.

The woman had grazes to her elbows and knees and elbows and is badly shaken.

In one picture, the man has his hoodie unzipped and a t-shirt with some distinctive writing can be seen underneath.

The t-shirt appears to have the letters “BRKLYN” in large black writing on a white background.

In the other picture it appears the man has zipped up the hoodie and the t-shirt can’t be seen, but the hoody also appears to have writing across the chest area.
