One of the last sections of Christchurch's tram is on track to open this month.
Following the opening of the pre-earthquake tram loop and restaurant cart, the next loop is planned to be ready by February 12.
It's hoped the tracks - leading down Oxford Terrace, into Cashel Mall and up to High Street - will be open for the Cricket World Cup.
Managing director Michael Esposito says everyone's pushing to be ready on time.
"All the contractors have been really busy, they've put extra gangs on to ensure they meet that deadline - the 12th of February.
"The whole city's behind it, the council are working hard...CERA are working hard."
