The Auckland Airport runway has been temporarily closed following an emergency 757 landing.
An airport spokesperson says a DHL cargo plane with two crew aboard experienced problems with the hydraulics.
A small amount of hydraulic fluid has leaked onto the runway.
No flights are due to land until 10pm, and the airport says the runway will be open shortly.
A 8.30pm police were alerted to reports of a "plane in trouble" and at 8.40pm the plane had landed, a police spokeswoman said.
